Founded in May 2002, the World Poker Tour has quickly become one of the hotspots for poker players all over the world, with growing prizes and easy access even for non-professionals, thanks to promotions made by PartyPoker.
This year, PartyPoker’s Marvin Rettenmaier has been the most pleasant surprise. The young and eccentric German player has managed to make history by winning two WPT tournaments in a row and, should he make it to the event, is expected to be one of the main appearances at 2012’s final European tournament, the WTP Prague.

Marvin’s game won’t be the only attraction in the Czech capital. Hosted by the luxurious Corinthia Hotel, the tournament is also expected to benefit from the participation of professional players such as Kara Scott of PartyPoker team. Prizes are also unprecedented – 3.5 million euros is the expected total prize pool, with a big part of that money going to the player who finished on top at the final table, scheduled to take place on December 9th. The tournament will start from December 3rd, with a series of famous and unknown players.
