The 2020 GCOOP is done and dusted after all 19 events crowned their champions. “Juninho23” is the name on everyone’s lips, however, because they took down the GCOOP Main Event.

Those of you who remember the early days of the English Premier League will remember the diminutive Middleborough and Brazil forward Juninho, who happened to wear the number 23 shirt. He was a little magician on the pitch and his namesake produced some magic in the GCOOP Main Event.

Some 459 players bought in and created a £45,900 prize pool that the top 64 finishers shared. There was more than prize money up for grabs because the Player of Series leaderboard points were doubled for this event.

All but one of the eight finalists walked away with a four-figure score.
