Matthew Lombardi (born March 18, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey center who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Calgary Flames, Phoenix Coyotes, Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs and Anaheim Ducks. Lombardi is Co-Founder and VP of Construction and Development at Lombardi Residential. While studying finance and real estate at Villanova University, Matt built a successful business building and renovating luxury homes along the Main Line in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The Carolina Panthers aren’t making the playoffs in 2020, but they might eclipse their 5.5 over/under win projection. However, doing so is a challenge given the state of their franchise along with a lack of live, offseason workouts.

Level 21 (Blinds 6,000/12,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 2,792
Players Remaining: 250

The tournament floor is doing an official counts of players remaining, but it seems as if players are in the money!!! There was a plethora of action across the room during the bubble, with short stack surviving, 1,000,000 chip pots unfolding, and just the drama you’d expect on the bubble. The “bubble boy” (who asked to not be named) would open shove 151,000 from early position, with action folding around to Matt Lombardi (Edison, NJ) in the big blind. Lombardi would have him covered and make the call, with players rushing over from other tables to watch the hand unfold:

Lombardi: {kc} {kd}
Player X: {as} {5h}

Flop: {3c} {3d} {3h}
Turn: {10d}
River: {qd}

Lombardi’s pocket kings would hold, as the bubble boy just stood on started down at the table, almost in shock about what just occurred. He would have to wait to see if the field lost any other players on that hand (that had less chips), but he would not be so fortunate. The field would give a small ovation once they found out the bubble was officially broken, and players are now on a (15) minute break. Time will be added to the clock once players return, and action will continue with only the scheduled breaks to follow.

'Matt proposed in Boston last night with a beautiful ring he designed himself,' Liukin tells E! News. 'He told me we were going to celebrate together and to my surprise my parents, best friend and his family and best friend were waiting there to celebrate with us. We are both so excited for our future together.'

'So this just happened... @matt_lombari,' the blond beauty captioned a photo of her stunning engagement sparkler, which was perfectly complemented by her pretty pink manicure.

Morgan Shara of MASbisjoux jewelry tells E! News, 'Nastia's ring appears to be a very beautiful and classic design featuring a cushion brilliant diamond of approximately 4 carats framed by a halo of pavé diamonds on a presumably platinum band, also drenched in diamonds. This six-figure sparkler will no doubt dazzle on the finger of this incredible American Olympic super star.'

Nice work, Lombardi!

'I'm actually in a long-distance relationship, so he lives in Boston and he comes out to L.A. every few weeks when he can,' Liukin told E! News last month.

'Something my dad actually taught me when I was 15 or 16 was you'll make time for whatever and whoever is important to you,' she added. 'Even before I met him I was like, 'There's absolutely no way, I have no time to date!' But I think when you find someone you love, you make time for them.'

Although Liukin didn't take home the Mirrorball Trophy (she was eliminated during the semi-finals following partner Derek Hough's injury), the Olympian said her dancing partner 'taught me to just live in the moment and really enjoy the journey.'
